After Spain, my next stop was Venice, Italy! I was really excited about going to Italy because it was one of the countries I most wanted to go to on this trip.

Paris

I knew before going to Paris that it was a city that many people loved and there was a lot of hype about it, but for some reason my expectations weren't that high when I got there. I think compared to the other cities I had been to up to that point it seemed way bigger and I had the impression that it would feel huge and dirty and overwhelming. In some ways that was true but overall I liked it way more than I expected.

Copenhagen and Amsterdam

I'm finally getting around to posting more about my trip for the past month or so. I've been taking notes on my computer while I have free times on trains but somehow actually posting it has slipped through the cracks since I haven't spent much time online recently and when I have it's been for planning the next part of my journey. However, I was able to use a good computer to upload pictures to my blog the other day, so the next few posts will actually have pictures! So without further ado here is the first of the 3 posts I have written at this point.

So I'm getting around to writing another blog post very soon after the last one, but unfortunately it's not for a happy reason. Earlier today a pickpocket stole my iPhone while we were on the metro in Barcelona.
